Our hotel......It was our forefather, Jules Joseph Grossat, who established a confectionery in 1922 on the site of the present hotel. In 1995 we opened the doors to our hotel "De Emauspoort". Part of the hotel comprises is a room with great ambience situated in the oldest building. This room is very suitable for formal and informal meetings. |

A number of rooms are located in our picturesque courtyard. At the front of the hotel are 2 rooms with views of the most painted and photographed house in Delft. Please note that our hotel is non-smoking. In the morning we serve a large breakfast buffet, you can allways rely on fresh baked bread from our own bakery. In the evening you are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere of our lounge room until 10 pm. Here you can drink a cup of coffee or order a drink from the bar. This room also has a reading table, TV and Internet. You will remember a stay at "Hotel de Emauspoort" for it's informal and personal atmosphere. We are there for you day and night. |

Rick Steves' Guide Amsterdam, Bruges & Brussels 2007: Picture-perfect and family-run, is relaxed, friendly, and wrapped around the family's 82-year-old bakery. It's ideally located one block from the Market Square. The 23 rooms, named for sea heroes and Delft artists (most you've never heard of), overlook the canal or peek into the courtyard. Romantics can stay in one of their two "Gypsy caravans" ("Pipo de Clown" or "Mammaloe"). Borrow bikes for free........Dear Mr Rick Steve, I am sorry to inform your readers that we do not have the bikes anymore. Due to some accidents with the bikes we decided to stop this service to our guests. |

The Lonely Planet 2007: Comfy, old-style rooms, plus two attentively restored gypsy caravans (named 'Pipo de Clown' and 'Mammaloe') Delightful. Big fat bonus: the bakery-confectionery store next doors provides the big fat breakfast. |
