At 18.57 hours JIP STRUYK is born, 4120 grams, +/- 52 cm
Son Jeroen Struyk & Désirée Went! And he is the most beautiful boy of the whole of Delft!
August 2009: video's about our hotel are rewarded.
Video's about our hotel on the Internet made and publised by hotelguests will be rewarded with a nice piece of Delft Blue porcelan.
The most used site is YouTube, but other video websites like Tripadvisor are also fine. To earn this nice piece of Delft Blue the video has to meet some small guide lines:
1. The video must be a minimum lenght of 2 minutes and must give a honest impression about our hotel.
2. The video must be namend & tagged with at least: delft hotel de emauspoort (offcourse you can add more)
3. After you have uploaded the video you have to inform us by email.
4. After looking at the video we will send you the nice piece of Delft Blue to your home adress anywhere in the world.
We wish you good luck and pleasure making the video.
Once per year we will choose the 'video of the year', for this video we will have a 'special award'.

1st of March 2007: From the 1st of January 2007 we have been busy redecorating a number of our our rooms, all looks even better now. Our pride is the "Room of Vermeer", this room is now completely decorated and furnished in the style of Johannes Vermeer. A nostalgic room bringing our guests back to the time of Vermeer, many painting, a nostalgic bathroom and a view on the most painted house of Delft.

Just like last year we have a "Bib Hotel" in front of our hotel name in the Michelin Guide Netherlands 2007.

| October 2006 New "Vermeer" tins Recently new "Vermeer"tins are available at "New Grossat". Square tins with on each side a reproduction of a painting of Johannes Vermeer. The tins are filled with "Pearls of Delft", special made butter bisquits with a slight taste of cinnamon made in our own bakery by Felix van Waart our home baker.
